A static brochure-type website takes in the region of 2 -3 weeks to develop from start to final upload, depending on the amount of pages and detail of the design involved.
Usually we quote by the hour, but we find that more and more clients want a definite bottom line figure to work from.
So, we price our web design as per below, and if the need arises (the client may want to add or omit information), we adjust the price accordingly as the project is developed (obviously our clients and ourselves will always be in agreement on any pricing changes and we keep our clients updated timeously as to the development). Generally, the prices below are what we quote, and invoice for at the end of the day.

The first and biggest step is establishing the
"look & feel" which would take us in the region of 8-16 hours to develop. For this we charge a flat rate of R 2 000.00.
Once you are 100% happy with the design concept, the rest of the site should fall into place fairly quickly. You will need to provide content for each page, logos, photographs (in electronic format)
and anything else you wish to publish. We will guide you in this regard.
We normally start with the homepage design and send a preview for approval and/or tweaking before tackling the rest of the site. From here on we charge R 200.00 per page for the design & development (including the home page).

If you require databasing, calcu- lators, or any other dynamic features, these will have to be quoted for separately as per a comprehensive brief from you. |

Firstly, you need to register a domain name for your website.
A ‘.co.za’ costs R 120.00 to register,
plus R 120.00 annual
renewal thereafter.

Secondly, you need hosting for your website and email. Hosting carries a charge of R 130.00 per month which includes 2 email accounts . There is a charge of
R 10.00 per extra email account, per month. |
| :: SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION :: |
The design of your site includes very basic search engine optimization and submission – each webpage will be encoded with important metatags such as Title, Description, Keywords and Robots. Once completed and live, we will submit the website to Google. It could take about two weeks to display your listing, although there is no guaranteed timeframe. We also cannot guarantee that your site will rank high at all... therefor it is advisable to have the site analysed & optimised for search engines by a professional Search Engine Optimisation Specialist. This will ensure that your website is listed on local & international search engines and online directories so people can find your website.
There is obviously an extra cost involved for the optimization, and unfortunately we do not offer this service. This is a very specialised field of expertise, which requires keeping up to date extensively with new developments in the ever changing web industry. Our advise is to seek an affordable Search Engine Optimisation Spacialist who is either recommended to you or whom you have come across by his/her signature at the bottom of sites he/she has optimised.
